About Brett
As a pastor’s kid, I grew up in the church world and felt a call to ministry at a young age. I jumped into full time ministry in 2005 and am an ordained reverend by the Church of God (Anderson). I was a student pastor & a nextgen pastor for the next 11+ years before jumping in to a new adventure with Orange and Orange Students.
I spent 6 & a half years as a Student Orange specialist, coaching & consulting with Student Pastors & churches all over the globe. At the start of 2023, I began a new role with Orange as the VP of Staff Culture & Development to support our staff, develop systems that help us live our values as an organization & facilitate employee development, engagement & experience.
I still love speaking to students, helping train & develop leaders.
My wife, Courtney, & I have been married since 2004 & we have three amazing & hilarious kids who constantly keep us busy & laughing. I love music, playing golf & I make amazing turkey melt sandwiches (if I have the time and ingredients, otherwise they’re just average). We’re very involved at our church & I serve in our Middle School ministry.
My passions in ministry are…
helping teenagers develop their own authentic faith in the midst of safe community,
helping small group leaders facilitate those kinds of communities
helping ministry leaders build those kinds of ministries.

Such an honor & privilege to work with these awesome folks on the Orange Students team. It's also a blast being on a team with them.
We live in the ATL suburbs, but Courtney & I are both from Indiana. Here we are on a boat at sunset in Rochester, Indiana.
